TRAINING
Theaterakademie August Everding
Empowering your future seeds in the diverse genres of the performing arts
15 - 17 July 2024
Theaterakademie August Everding
With this workshop, the Theaterakademie August Everding is approaching the benefits of a multidisciplinary training. The aim is to remove artistic barriers between the different genres and techniques and foster an atmosphere of diversity and innovation where new ideas and approaches can thrive.
Dance With Your Voice is a creative, mental & physical journey that offers a holistic approach to the performing arts. Be it the voice in opera, musical, jazz or drama or the involvement of the body in singing, dancing & drama, there will always be new roads to discover, challenge and explore.
Workshop leader Buenaventura de Braunstein will show the artists a variety of practical tools during the workshop while the participants are going to work alone, in pairs or in groups. Those tools are for example:
Stop Getting Out of Breath: Partnering & Breathing while acting, dancing and singing or using props in a rehearsal or on stage.
Physical Training: Diverse physical training methods (involving dance, vocals, breathing) to support you before an audition, when touring, stage fright e.g.
Poetry & Passion Rev Up: Creating your own poem to be performed through singing, acting & dancing while using different vocal and performance styles.
