Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel
Residency for two composers
22 November 2018
Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel
The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel invites Belgian composer Harold Noben and Franco-Brazilian composer Januibe Tejera for two residencies from September 2018 to June 2019.
Session 1: 19 October 2018
Session 2: 11-12 December 2018
Session 3: 11-15 March 2019 (Harold Noben)
Session 4: 7,8 and 12 June 2019 (Harold Noben)
The objective of this double residency is to offer them the opportunity to work with the singers and instrumentalists of the Music Chapel while giving to the students of the school a unique experience to discover contemporary music. Through the different sessions, they will be able to develop the first steps of a new work.
The residencies are mentored by composer Benoît Mernier whose first opera Frühlings Erwachen was premiered by La Monnaie / De Munt in 2007.
