Cypriot composer Christina Athinodorou was offered a residency at La Monnaie I De Munt.
Session: 29 January - 7 February 2019
During her residency, she was given the opportunity to meet and discuss with the institution's Director, Peter de Caluwe, and his teams ; attend rehearsals of the new production Frankenstein ; speak to the artistic teams and the singers.
Two of her pieces were presented by singers from the MM Academy in the frame of a public master class led by Bassem Akiki and her.
Christina Athinodorou’s project is to write a piece including children choir. In the frame of this project, she was invited to attend rehearsals of the Children’s and Youth choirs of La Monnaie I De Munt.
