LAB - Outra Margem

at the Helsinki Festival

The Helsinki Festival invited creative teams to work on their opera projects based on the Orpheus Myth with performers. The participants learned group work methodologies in order to create a music theatre fragment of their project and received group coaching in improvisation and communication skills. The Lab ended with a public presentation.

Composer Nuno da Rocha and librettist Rita Fernandes took part in this LAB and worked together with stage director João Henriques, sopranos Meeri Pulakka & Julia Szproch, cellist Marku Hohti and dancer Sini Länsivuori.
