Composition workshop 2

First workshop: 9-13 December 2013

-       voice a cappella (with or without amplification)

-       voice with accompaniment (viola da gamba or Paetzold bass recorder, or composers’ own instrument)

Second workshop: 30 November - 5 December 2014

-       idem + electronics (live and/or prepared)

The second workshop is a continuation of the first workshop. On top of that there will be a large focus on voice and (prepared and/or live) electronics. Composer Wouter Snoei, a specialist in writing for voice and electronics, will join the team.

Another important topic will be the new pieces written by the participating composers.

Closing concert

A concert will close this last workshop, including the four singers of VOCAALLAB and Eva Reiter, performing some pieces of the composers, chosen in order to suit to the program of this concert. Pieces in which the composer is one of the performers are encouraged.
